New Palmer College Chiropractic CE Credit Program
Through our mind/body immersion workshop, Journey Into Healing, Palmer College is now offering Chiropractic continuing education credits! Chiropractors can now gain 23.5 credit hours for attending the most innovative Ayurvedic course on the planet.
This signature Chopra Center mind-body workshop is based on the 5,000 year-old practice of ayurveda, the complementary system of healing which originated in ancient India. Along with special guest health care practitioners, the co-founders of the Chopra Center, Deepak Chopra, M.D. and David Simon, M.D., journey through a mind-body natural healing process that explores how to integrate ancient teachings and modern scientific research into a total program for wellness. Founded on the principle that "health is more than the absence of disease, it is physical, emotional and spiritual well being," Journey into Healing explores and explains how to bring these timeless healing practices into your daily life.
This powerful four-day workshop includes instruction in accessing your inner pharmacy through the five senses, detailed explanation of your mind-body personality (dosha),body-centered restful awareness, intimate interactive exchanges, Primordial Sound Meditation instruction and a more complete understanding of a healthful and balanced mind and body. To complement the nutritional guidance offered, each day you will dine on delicious ayurvedic vegetarian lunches created from the Chopra Center cookbook.
